| Sheltered Work Opportunities utilized the kitchen to make a batch of salsa to sell at local events. Some of the REI staff got to sample the salsa, and it was delicious. |
| As Durant continues to grow, more and more events are taking place. The commercial kitchen was utilized by a Tulsa-based company hired to create an ice sculpture centerpiece for a local Grand Opening celebration. Once the ice was ready, the carving took about an hour to complete. It was stored in the walk-in freezer until it was time for the big event later that evening. |
