Foreign Trade Zone #227 is located in the 320 acre International Business Park in Durant, Oklahoma, off US Highway 69/75. The highway is the most direct route from Laredo, Texas to Kansas City which is the east-west turnaround. This route also passes through the Port of Muskogee on the McClellan-Kerr waterway.
FTZ #227 is the only foreign trade zone in the rural southeastern part of Oklahoma and the first zone in the state to operate outside the ports of Oklahoma City and Tulsa. It is located just one hour from Dallas, Texas, a national center for cargo distribution, just eight hours from Laredo, Texas (one of the most used border crossings from Mexico to U.S. and Canada) and only five hours from San Antonio and Houston, Texas. FTZ #227 also includes Subzone 227A located in Ardmore, Oklahoma. It is operated by Valero Refining Company-Oklahoma, a direct subsidiary of Valero Energy Corporation.

I- 20 (east/west) 95 miles south. Connects Florence, South Carolina to Pecos, TX.
